Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI in collaboration with Racine County is currently seeking a full-time, 3rd shift Mental Health Specialist to join our team in the SAIL Program. SAIL is a 24-7, 13 bed, short-term crisis stabilization center for Racine County adult residents having mental health crisis. Mental Health Specialists team with behavioral health professionals to plan and provide mental health services for individuals in crisis including individual and group activities and making referrals.
As a 24-7 facility, all staff are required to work every other weekend and rotating holidays. This is a full-time role, hours 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 8:00 AM), awake, the schedule rotates 7 on, 3 days off, 3 on, 1 off schedule; every other Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night off and on the opposite week every other Wednesday night off.

This position requires a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to perform the essential duties of the role; a motor vehicle check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record per the LSS Driver Safety Procedure is required, and ability to meet LSS auto insurance requirements.

This position works in a community based residential environment. The incumbent will also be exposed to outdoor conditions when traveling on company business.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
TRAVEL: Ability to travel on day trips as required. Seldom overnight travel may be required.
